You Are Deaf

The project “You Are Deaf” got formed around the paradoxical notion of “sound/voice” and “image”. Represented through four chosen sentences and photographed in stop motion.
– I am shouting | I am silent
– I love you | I hate you

The project went further got developed in two different [paradoxical] directions. First, the traditional technique (Cyanotype) such as printing on cardboard and fabric in final form of a flag which symbolically represents the act of speaking out loud in protests. And the second direction, by using digital technique and mediums such as poster and video.
